Parents Night Out

What is Parents Night Out?
You need some quality "alone time" (either as a couple, or a single parent), but you need childcare you can trust.
PNO provides childcare service (by qualified and dedicated childcare providers) at the church for up to five hours on Friday evenings.
We want to provide an opportunity for you to get rested and refreshed as you serve alongside us in our Children's Ministry Programs.
We also want to encourage you as parents to spend time together to strengthen your marriage and enjoy "date nights" out together.
As single parents, it is also important to make time to invest in supportive relationships that will strengthen you, build you up and encourage you.
How does it work?
Parents Night Out will be available for those who regularly serve in Children's Ministry Programs who have children between the ages of 1 month—12 years old. (Refer to "Who's Eligible" chart)
- Kids Dinner/Light Snack will be provided ($ Donations for food are appreciated)
- Parents must stay in a 40-mile radius of the SCBC Campus.
- Parents must keep a cell phone or pager with them at all times. If you don't have one, one will be provided.
- Parents must agree not to partake of alcohol during your Parents Night Out.
- Reservations must be made by Wednesday of each week by calling 429-5720 ext 310 or by e-mail at pno@santacruzbible.org. You will be called back with a confirmation code. If you do not have a confirmation code you will not be on the list for a reservation and will be turned away.
- Parents of younger children will be requested to drop off and pick up their children early.

Who is this for?
Parents who regularly serve in Children's Ministry.
For parents who don’t qualify for free childcare, the following options are available:
Barter - serve for 1 Parents Night Out (PNO) shift and receive 2 free Friday PNO Childcare.
Pay - $4.00 per hour per child for meal and childcare services.
Sign up to serve - additional opportunities for you to serve in Children’s Ministries are available.
This Service is for you
We are assuming you won’t abuse it. However, for your child’s safety:
- If you break your agreement and consume alcohol during your Parents Night Out you will not be allowed to use the program again.
- If you arrive later than 10 pm, or you break other rules, your privilege of Parents Night Out will be revoked for the next month.
