New to Santa Cruz Bible Church?
We hope the following information will help to answer any of your questions.
Keeping your kids safe
We consider every child a precious gift from God and we will do everything we can to ensure that they are safe when you entrust them to us. We have a computer check-in system that allows you to specify who has your permission to pick-up your child. To set up your log-in go to Kidcheck.com. Be sure to click on the “Sign-Up” button to create your FREE Parent Account for Santa Cruz Bible Church. A security label for each child with a matching one for the parent will be printed. (One label is placed on the child, and the other is for the parent to show for pick-up.) Only the adult with the security label will be allowed to pick up the child. One parent label may be used for multiple siblings If the parent label is lost, the parent must show their ID to the Director.
Who cares for my child?
Every children’s worker has had a background check, has a current application on file and training. We want you to know that whatever the age of your child they will be in good hands while you are worshiping. All volunteers can be easily identified by their SCBC photo ID.
Where does my child go?
The nursery is located downstairs in the Worship Center.
Toddlers- 5th graders check-in via the computers located downstairs in the Children's Center.
Toddlers- kindergarteners meet downstairs in the Children's Center, you may walk them to their classroom down the hallway. They will be in their classrooms at the end of the services (the children will go to the downstairs chapel during their class time).
1st-2nd graders and 3rd graders meet in their respective classrooms upstairs in the Children's Center for the 9 a.m. service. The 10:45 a.m service will meet in the upstairs chapel.
4th-5th graders will meet in their room upstairs and will stay in that room for the duration of the service.
What types of snacks are available for my child?
A snack will be
provided for your preschooler during our service. Usually fishie crackers and
water are served, but occasionally we will celebrate and have cake or other
sweets. The preschool hallway is a peanut free zone, so there is no need to
fear if your child has nut allergies.
What if my child needs me?
When you sign your child into the KidZone, you entered a primary phone number. If you are needed during a worship service we flash the last four digits of your phone number on the screens located in the worship center.
We want to ensure that all our children stay healthy when they visit the KidsZone. Please check the link above to see our policy.
