Brief description of what you do at SCBC:
I have been attending SCBC for over 20 years. I started on staff in April of 2018 as the Connections Director. My job is to create a welcoming environment and help people get connected here at SCBC.

What was your first car?
Army green VW bug It was not pretty.

Where’s your favorite spot in Santa Cruz county?
ANY Beach!

Favorite place to eat in Santa Cruz?
El Palomar, Cafe Cruz, Restaurante Italiano

What are your top 3 favorite movies?
Notebook, City of Angels, A Walk to Remember, basically any chick flick.

What’s your hidden talent or a fun fact about you?
Love to sing, but cannot carry a tune.  I feel sorry for the people that sit in front of me at church.

What was your first paying job?
Baby sitting and I worked at Kim’s Kitchen taking orders, chopping veggies, and peeling prawns.

Mexican and Italian

Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers and The Bible

What would your ideal day off look like?
In the morning drinking a great cup of coffee while watching the sunrise on the beach, then a nice walk with family or friends, hanging out at the beach, reading a great book, then some quilting.  I’d try to squeeze in a good nap. Then ending my day with my husband and children while eating great food, with lots of laughter and maybe a movie
