My wife Sharri and I moved to Mount Hermon (Felton) in 1975 where I accepted a full time position in Mount Hermon’s Business Department. We have attended and have been involved at Santa Cruz Bible Church since 1993. We have 3 grown children: Dave, Karen and Emily, as well as 6 grandchildren. I have taught several classes at SCBC and Sharri has been involved in Women’s Ministry in the past as well.
Sharri and I both attended Biola University for a year (different years) and were married while I attended Biola in 1968. My education interest was in Business and I transferred to and graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Accounting and Finance. After a couple years working for the J.C. Penney Co. as a cost analyst in the area of budgeting, we moved to Portland, Oregon where I attended Western Conservative Baptist Seminary for further biblical studies.
Sharri and I enjoy road trips to Southern California to visit family as well as a favorite spot in Pismo Beach. Mexican food is one of my favorites, and you can’t make it too spicy (most restaurant versions of “hot” is truly mild)!
I believe we are in exciting times here at SCBC and look forward to how God will be challenging and using us a body and individually, in reaching out to Santa Cruz and beyond.
